Pointe Golf Club is located in the town of Somers, NY in Northern
Westchester County. The club is easily accessible from Route 202
on West Hill Drive within the Heritage Hills Community.
Can I join if I don’t live in Heritage
Hills?
There is no affiliation with the Heritage Hills residential community
and residence within the Heritage Hills community is not a membership
requirement.
When can the general public play at Somers Pointe Golf Club?
Only members and guests of members of the club may play at Somers
Pointe.
What types of membership are offered at Somers Pointe Golf Club?
Somers Pointe Golf Club is currently accepting applications for
non-equity membership. Single, Family and Corporate Memberships
are available. Memberships are renewable on a calendar-year basis,
on or about December 1st.
Is the initiation fee refundable or transferable?
Our initiation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable and
as a result are relatively low in comparison to other private area
clubs.
Will I be assessed for improvements or deficits?
No. The club owner will incur all operating deficits and costs
for improvements. With the exception of annual dues and incidental
fees, members are not liable for the costs associated with the
operations and improvements of the club.
When is the course open?
The course opens on or about April 1st and closes at the
end of November, depending upon weather conditions. During peak
season: May through September, the course opens at 7:00 am weekdays
and 6:30 am weekends. During non-peak season: April, October and
November, the course is opens at 7:30 am.
Will I be able to walk when I play?
Cart usage is mandatory on both the East and West Hills at Somers
Pointe Golf Club, however walking may be allowed at the discretion
of the Head Golf Professional and only when pace of play is not
a concern.
May I bring guests to join me?
Most definitely, however limited privileges are permitted during
peak times to protect the playing privileges of our members. Guests
are limited to play twice per month.
What is the Dress Code?
Proper Golf Attire is required on the course, driving range, practice
green and in the Clubhouse. Shirts must have collars or mock turtlenecks
and shorts must be of Bermuda length. Tank tops, t-shirts, jeans
and other similar non-golf attire are not considered proper. Golf
shoes with non-metal, non-penetrating spikes are required.
What are the Food & Beverage minimums?
There are no assessments for food and beverage. All food and beverages
consumed on the property must be purchased from the clubhouse or
beverage cart. Absolutely no coolers are allowed on golf carts.

and pay the initial deposit. In the event your membership is declined,
the deposit, without interest, will be refunded to you.
